Gregory Edwards, CFP® , AIF®

Financial Consultant

Greg is president of Security Financial Solutions, a division of Security Financial Bank. He joined SFS in February of 2011 with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including positions as both a financial advisor and in management with US Bancorp Investments, Morgan Stanley, and SunAmerica Retirement Markets. Greg, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM (CFP®), specializes in helping clients plan for and manage their retirement years. As a risk management specialist, he helps clients with annuities as well as life, long-term care, and other insurance needs.

Greg earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Ohio State University. He is a veteran of the Ohio Army National Guard and U.S. Army Military Intelligence, serving as a Czechoslovakian linguist and translator. An avid reader, Greg is especially interested in Revolutionary- and Napoleonic-era naval history. He lives near a lake in Augusta, Wisconsin, with his wife, Sandy. They have three grown children and three grandchildren.

Sandra Edwards

Client Relations Associate

Sandra is Greg’s assistant and the client relations associate for Security Financial Solutions. She earned her bachelor of science degree from Ohio State University in 1982, specializing in child development and developmental psychology. As an Army brat and wife, Sandra has traveled most of her life and is now enjoying life here in Western Wisconsin. She previously held administrative positions with the Ohio State University School of Music; the Pebble Beach Company; Stars and Stripes Bookstores; H&R Block; Karen R. Hurd Nutritional Practice, LLC; and SunAmerica.

Sandra has three children, two grandsons, and a grandaughter. Sandra loves sewing and crafting as well as hunting for antiques. She serves the women’s ministry of her church by coordinating the Ladies’ Retreat each year and volunteers several days a month at the Fall Creek Community Cupboard.
